Make SociaBlend work for you

Learn the feed, tune content filters, connect with creators, find Michigan resources, and keep conversations under your control.

Your dashboard feed

The dashboard blends creator posts, crawler news, posts from people you know, and occasional discovery prompts. Community-only resources stay in Community unless posted by someone you follow or have friended.

Content filters

Every account begins subscribed to all content categories so filters can do their job. In Profile settings, lower a tolerance to hide more of that content or raise it to allow more. Blocking and excluded-user choices remain separate.

Friends, follows, and Messenger

Friends and followed creators influence the dashboard. Messenger's contact list shows friends who are currently online. Find Friends lets you discover verified registered members before starting a conversation.

Find friends

Michigan Community tools

Save your city, county, and ZIP to match local jobs, Michigan Works locations, training, events, and public resources. Community posts are separated from the general dashboard to keep both views useful.

Safety and privacy

Use filters before content reaches the feed, block unwanted accounts, protect login information, and report content that violates community standards. Private messages are stored through SociaBlend's encrypted messaging path.

Quick answers

Why did a post disappear?

Its content flags exceeded one of your saved filter tolerances, or the author is blocked.

Why is my Messenger contact list empty?

Only online friends appear there. Use Find Friends to add registered members.

Why do feed results change?

Freshness, engagement, relationships, creator discovery, crawler sources, and a controlled exploration shuffle all contribute.

Can I return to this guide?

Yes. The Help Center remains available from the question-mark icon even after first-run help is complete.
